*POSITION : AUTOMATION ENGINEER----LOCATION:  PHILADELPHIA, PA---DURATION:
12+ MONTHS*



*Scope:*

The Automation Engineer will work hand in hand with internal infrastructure
and operations automation teams.  Between HW/SW deployments, a lot of
scripts are written for automation and we need someone that can continue to
develop scripts for these automated purposes and figure out ways to improve
it.  Puppet is widely used.



*PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS*

·         Assist in managing a large scale virtual infrastructure
environment (i.e., deploy new servers, maintain existing ones, patch, etc)

·         Work with on & offshore resources to provide 24x7 support for
infrastructure under management

·         Troubleshooting errors on physical and virtual servers that sit
underneath proprietary and open source applications in production and
pre-production environments

·         Identifying, defining, and executing/working with external teams
to execute on service monitoring requirements

·         Working with development teams to further operationalize their
applications, with a focus on repeatability of, redundancy, and scalability

·         Monitor the health and status of systems under management

·         Assist in the continuous improvement

·         Ability to create and maintain policies, standards, and overall
system documentation



*Must have: *

·         5+ years of systems engineering, with a bias towards Unix/Linux
environments

·         Experience with in Puppet is an ABSOLUTE MUST.  (Spacewalk,
mCollective, Capistrano PLUS)

·         Advanced knowledge of scripting and/or development background
(Ruby, bash, Python, Perl, etc.) and GNU tools

·         Solid communications skills

·         “Customer-first” mentality

·         Extremely attentive to detail



*Nice to Have: *

·         Familiarity with Nagios, OP5, Splunk, or DynaTrace a plus



*POSITION : FRONT END WEB DEVELOPER --LOCATION:  HORSHAM, PA (PHILADELPHIA
SUBURBS)--DURATION:  6+ MONTHS*



Attention Java Developers!  We are looking for a developer to join our
Fortune 100 client to join their configuration management group to help
with some customizations and integration of the tools currently in use.



*Scope:*

You will be asked to create plug-in's and scripts to help integrate
Atlassian tools.  Front end development skills also highly desired to write
web front-ends for tools that currently have API's.  REST is being used as
the web service.



*Required Skills*:

·         Java Development

·         Bash scripting

·         Bamboo and Stash

·         REST web services

·         Front-end web development



Any experience with other Atlassian tools such as JIRA, Confluence,
Fisheye, Crucible is highly desired.  If you have ever worked within a
Configuration Management group, that could be the icing on the cake!



*POSITION : LINUX SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR --LOCATION:  RESTON, VA--DURATION:
12+ MONTHS*



Are you a Linux engineer that loves the development/scripting side as much
as the administration?  Then we have an ideal position for you!  I am
looking for that true engineer type – creative and confident in their
ability to work with multiple scripting languages and do Linux
Administration as well.



*Scope:*

·         Perform Linux operating system installation among others. Conduct
upgrades, patching, tuning, log parsing, troubleshooting, configuration,
support, & maintenance of said architecture. Familiarity with subversion.

·         Perform application software installation, upgrades, and
troubleshooting across products including but not limited to: NetApp,
Isilon, Oracle, MySQL, Apache, Puppet, Red Hat, A10 and other related
devices.

·         Participation in an on-call rotation for after-hours coverage as
needed.

·         Occasional travel required other duties as assigned.



*Required / Desired Skills & Experience:*

·         At least 7 years of Linux systems administration, performance
tuning, and troubleshooting experience in a large-scale (100+ servers),
customer-facing, and high-availability environment.

·         Tools development in Perl, PHP, Python, Ruby, or similar
languages. Scripting with Perl, Bash, Python, Groovy (Creation of shell
scripts to automate tasks and perform basic data analysis).



*Education:*

·         Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science or
equivalent in work experience and self-study
