*Data Warehouse QA Tester ROSELAND, NJ 07068 Duration: 3 Month(s) contract* * Must-haves* Strong QA Testing background, experience in testing projects dealing with large amount of Data/Data Warehouse ETL projects. o Experience in multiple environments and/or on multiple operating systems (i.e., Windows, Linux, UNIX, etc.) and technologies (.Net, Web technologies, etc.) o Experience in BI Technologies o Proficiency in UI Pixel testing o Proficiency in Excel o Experience in using SQL Developer Tool/TOAD o Experience in implementing various software QA/testing methodologies/best practices. o Experience in developing and executing QA/testing strategy, test plan, test cases and scripts. o Experience building complex SQL queries. o Experience in using COGNOS o Experience in reviewing Meta data model o Experience in Integration testing o Experience in analyzing, prioritizing, and managing software defects, and effectively working with developers in fixing and closing defects using Defect Tracking tools. o Experience in Automation Tool e.g. Selenium, QTP etc o Excellent understanding of Agile/waterfall software development life cycles (SDLC). o Strong written and oral skills and possess strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to move easily between various tasks. *Plusses* Any QA certifications *Role* o Development, execution and update of test plans/test scripts, test cases that identify serious issues, defects and deviation from user specifications in applications. o Good working knowledge on various testing tools.
