*Position: Business Analyst with LifeRay*

*Location: Lincolnshire, IL*

*Duration: 7 Months  (Possible extension to mid of next year)*


*Business Analyst:*

*Job Description: *Responsible for interfacing with stakeholders and
creating user stories for various business requirements.  Should be able to
devise solutions for the user problems and propose these solutions to
stakeholders.

Business Analyst with Agile.  *Knowledge or experience in Liferay / Portal
development, Good communication.*

* Roles & Responsibilities:*

·         Conduct requirement gathering sessions and review meetings with
business sponsors and members of the development team, domain guidance
liaison to ensure understanding of the new functionalities.

·         Determine impact of functional requirements through collaboration
with other feature team members on various aspects of existing system.

·         Support design team in the translation of Medium fidelity design
into High fidelity designs.

·         Work closely with UX team to facilitate updates to med-fi and
communicate the updates to UI dev team.

·         Work closely with Technical Architect to identify the stories for
the Sprint after reviewing all the dependencies and make sure that all the
required details are worked out.

·         Create stories in JIRA and populate the Acceptance Criteria.

·         Participate in SL demo after the stories are complete in a sprint
and provide signoff.

·         Create power point presentation to demo the stories from each
Sprint to business sponsor through Show N Tell.

·         Participate in all remaining phases of Sprint to verify that the
design is installed, configured and documented correctly.

·         Review test cases and provide feedback to ensure that all
functional aspects have been covered and provide sign off.

·         Participate in UAT by writing scenarios for applicable
functionalities and work with QA team to ensure that required data set up
has been done to test the scenarios.

·         Participate in Defect review meetings to ensure defects are
prioritized, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner and
communicate the status back to stakeholders and update the same in tracker.

·         Support end users during execution of External User Acceptance
Testing.

·         Track and maintain user requested enhancements and changes
