Make sure the Consultant's skills match the requirement.* *Job Title :**Rule Analyst* *Location: **Charlotte, NC OR **Iselin, N*J *Duration: Long term* *Job Description: * *Targeted Skills & Competencies:** * Expert in Rule/Decision Analysis for rule based projects (ILOG, Blaze, Drools) - Proficient in leading project-based teams of analysts and/or rule developers - Experience with Agile methodologies a plus - Experience with Decision Modeling a plus - Experience with IBM Jazz Platform (RRC, RTC) a plus - Proven experience in designing applications that respond to business needs - Desired experience with strong pension and annuity product / business domain knowledge, including Life Insurance, Universal Life, After-Tax Annuities, and Retirement Plans, e.g., SRA, IRA, Keoghs, 401k, 403b.Trust Services, Educational Savings (529) Domain - Excellent communication and documentation skills *Tasks and Responsibilities* - Provides comprehensive production and development support, including problem definition, ticket documentation, and customer support - Resolves application and technical problems through rigorous testing and problem identification/solution - Participates in larger project teams, and at more senior levels, leads rule project delivery team - Drive rule discovery and analysis phases - Facilitate sessions with SME/IT - Interface with multiple IT teams & groups - Produce high quality deliverables and documents - Lead end to end delivery of rule projects - Coordinate release management* * *Suggested Experience & Qualifications:* • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. • 8 plus years of IT work experience in applications programming / analysis. • Experience with rule based projects •Experience leading teams for project delivery • Excellent working knowledge of systems / applications software and the Information Technology industry; understands their role in supporting business requirements / technical solutions. • Serves as point of escalation for complex issues. • Responsible for developing and executing project plans, as well as coordinating groups of IT staff.
