*Job Title:* Mobile Application Developer
*Duration:* 2-3 Months+
*Location:* Detroit Downtown, MI
Client:Cap Gemini
· *Requirements Gathering*: Collects and analyzes relevant
information regarding the nature of the customer’s business problem and
desired solution. Collects and analyzes relevant information regarding the
resources required to develop and implement the solution. Scoping activities
may include discussions with customer management, customer technical staff,
and customer end-users.
· *Business and Technical Design*: Applies critical thinking and
problem solving skills to develop business and technical models of the
applications to achieve solution.
· *Documentation*: Creates formal SDLC documentation. Documents
either part or whole application.
Development & Testing
· *Application Coding*: Implements solution defined in
Business/Technical Designs using required language. Will code either
partial process modules or entire application.
· *Application Testing*: Uses sound testing documents and procedures
to test individual application modules to ensure that they meet
specifications. Will test completed whole application to ensure that they
adhere to business and technical models.
· *Compiling*: Compiles code into executable file for unit testing
and for client distribution.
· *Troubleshooting*: Has the ability to research and identify basic
application code problems. Consults with senior resources to resolve
technical barriers to application implementation.
System Integration
· *Hardware*: Verifies that customer has appropriate hardware on
site for application. Configures and tests functioning of hardware
components of application.
· *Application Setup*: Configures customer server to run
applications. Loads appropriate software onto server and devices.
· *Acceptance Testing*: Verifies and documents functioning of
complete application within customer test environment.
· *Go-Live Support*: Provide on-site support when application is
installed in customer’s production environment.
Documentation & Training
· *User Documentation*: Prepare manual for application users. May
develop materials for use in training.
· *Training*: Provides hands-on training to application users. May
provide “train-the-trainer” training. May provide application maintenance
training *Qualifications:*
*- Requires expert level experience in Apple iOS (iPhone, iPad) mobile
application development; plus*
*- Advanced level experience in Mobile Web Development, Android OS,
Blackberry OS, or Windows Mobile*
*- Experience with Sybase Unwired Platform (SUP) and Sybase Afaria
preferred*
Additional requirements:
- Functional/Technical experience working within an IT environment
- Experience with current configurations, business process components &
module integration
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong executive presence and ability to interact with top executives
- Successful teamwork experience & demonstrated leadership abilities
- Bachelors degree in a related area of study
- 3-5 years of related work experience
