Performs table and interface design, supports the customization of data model structures with data modeler to ensure efficient loading processes Supports requirements definition and contributes to documentation of project and system documentation Reviewing designs, test plans and code to ensure high levels of performance, data quality, and maintainability. Knowledge of an ETL tool inner workings, appropriate design techniques to support restartability and high volume data load techniques Experience providing technical design review, development plan critique, code review, test plan/results review Strong understanding of relational database concepts, data modeling (dimensional/snowflake), SQL, query optimization, data warehouse architecture *6+ years experience with a major ETL tool (i.e. DataStage, Informatica) or open source tools.
