The Systems Architect reports to the Manager, Common Platform at Ericsson. You will be responsible for all aspects of platform support implementations for all products that utilize the Common Platform. This is a high impact position that is critical to helping Ericsson maintain high availability and high quality products delivered to cable and Telco operators. *Required Skills:* • BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience architecting large-scale, geographically-distributed systems. • 5-7 years of UNIX/Linux must be capable of diagnosing performance issues and kernel tuning. • 5-7 years of experience with scripting and automation, using common scripting languages and libraries. (Bash, Python, Perl, Ruby). • 3-5 years of experience with virtualization and cloud technologies. (VMWare, KVM, OpenStack) • 3-5 years of networking experience, TCP/IP, routers, bridge, VLAN and load balancers. • 1-3 years of experience with DevOps.
