*Role: Quality Assurance Analyst with health care EDI and QC/ALM with Claims * *Location : Manhattan, NYC(Need Locals – In Person Interview)* *Duration : 12 Months* Skills: QC/ALM with Claims background Quality Assurance Analyst Under the general direction of the Quality Assurance Lead the Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for the development, creation, and execution of test cases in an IBM Mainframe, HP ALM / QC environment. Principal Accountabilities: Tasks performed regularly that fulfill the basic function of the job: • Analyze test strategies and test plans developed by the Quality Assurance Lead. • Develop test cases in an HP ALM / QC environment to support EmblemHealth GHI Systems. • Build and maintain a repository of test cases in HP ALM / QC. • * **Should have Specbuilder exp.* • Facilitate test case data file creation for use during test case execution. • Create / provide necessary documentation for audit review. • Execute test cases, report defects found and attend triage meetings. • Learn and utilize EmblemHealth Testing Competency Center processes and methodologies. Position Success Criteria Actions, skills and knowledge needed to perform the job successfully: Required • Health care insurance background. • Hospital and Medical claims expertise. • Strong knowledge of claims adjudication processes. Preferred • Quality assurance or user acceptance test experience. • Prior experience testing mainframe applications. • Ability to analyze business requirements and develop test cases. • Experience using HP ALM and / or HP Quality Center. Education and Experience Necessary to successfully achieve the principal accountabilities of this position: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline. • Minimum 5 years experience in a quality assurance test role. • Strong organizational skills. • Solid communications and written skills.
