The candidate will be part of the team, which manages Gartner Event’s customer facing web sites and services. The ideal candidate will be someone who has 4-6 years of experience with an ASP.NET web development background and has experience building/supporting customer facing websites, web services, databases and other application technologies. Requirements • Bachelor's of Computer Science degree from a four-year college or university • Minimum of 4-6 years of experience building ASP.NET and C# based Internet facing enterprise web applications • Strong knowledge of OOP development using Visual Studio in many of the following C#/ASP.NET /MVC/WCF/WPF/MSSQL/SOAP/Restful/SOA/Enterprise Library • Applied Model View/X patterns in the real world • Firm understanding of security principles • Experienced in applying structured SOLID principles • Applied IoC/DI using unity or other frameworks • MSSQL Database Development skills.
