· Experience Packaging and deploying applications via different
technologies including PowerShell/Batch/VBScript/InstallShield to
medium/large enterprise environment.
•Ability to read and understand batch scripts and look for methods
to replace the use of scripts
•Knowledge of best practices surrounding VM creation, deployment
and management
•Able to assist in remediation of issues related to virtual
machines (related to VDI), hypervisor and monitoring.
•Solid understanding and working experience of current platforms
and technologies including Microsoft Windows Server, SQL Server, Windows 7,
Windows 8, Internet Explorer, Microsoft IIS, Active Directory, Windows
Registries, and Networking concepts.
•Proven experience in managing, patching, upgrading, and
maintaining a Windows based server and workstation platform.
•Experience with Mobile Technologies a plus including: Android,
Apple, Airwatch
· Experience with large scale Virtual Desktop Interface (VDI)
deployments using VMware Horizon targeting both thin and zero clients
· Experience with VMware Horizon View Administration and Client
Management tools for management of virtual desktops
· Experience with VMware vSphere, vCenter, and Operations Manager
· Experience creating, configuring and deploying VMware virtual
desktop images and RDS images to support a distributed Virtual Desktop
Interface (VDI) deployments for 1000+ locations and 15K+ end points
· Experience creating, configuring, and deploying RDS images to
support Virtual desktop Interface (VDI) deployment for 1000+
· Knowledge of VMware End User Computing (EUC) infrastructure and
software components and architectures.
