*Position: *QA Test Manager *Location: *Chicago, IL *Duration*: 6 month contract (possible contract to hire) *Interview Process: *Skype/Phone and Face to face *Must have BCBS experience, Greencard and US Citizens only.* *Consulting engagement *at a large organization in Healthcare service industry. * Data Warehouse Manager *that will provide and assess high-level impact of source system changes to the data warehouse and Informatics applications. * RESPONSIBILITIES:* - Develop testing strategies and testing plans, including, functional testing, non-functional testing, regression testing, negative testing, deployment testing, ETL job execution (Control M) testing, and error handling testing. - Work as a part of a dynamic team involved in testing of new development, enhancements and production defects of the existing Data Warehouse, extracts and applications. - Manage the detailed activities of test analysts and test leads. - Provide direction and approving test strategies, test plans, test data creation, and timeline management. - Responsible and accountable for all team work products and activities. *EXPERIENCE:* - Extensive experience leading testing teams and core data warehousing skills. - Must have experience with Data warehousing, Test strategy and test plan development, Test data creation, Leading testing resources, Test environment requirements management and environment build oversight, and Test effort estimation. - Technologies include Ab Initio, DB2, Cognos, FTP, Toad, Quality Center, Clear Case, Control M, PowerPoint, Word and Excel. - Ab Initio or System Analysis experience preferred, not required. - Exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, test estimation skills, and the ability to work independently to meet all target dates and expectations.
