The position involves developing test cases using R programming, testing and automating those tests to run as part of our Test Framework. * · Lead R testing effort for complex features which includes designing test scenarios, creating test plans, implementing, automating and executing test cases. · Develop automated tests for features which manage, distribute and monitor computation across large clusters. · Create and improve test frameworks to satisfy automation and reporting. · Interact with customers and Aster partners to simulate customer scenarios which help validate the product. · Identify and propose areas of improvement throughout the software development process · Work effectively in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment · Communicate effectively with all stakeholders. *Requiredskills:* - Experience testing opensource R functions & R libraries - Experience developing and working with R language programming - Good to have experience developing predictive R statistical models for customer data analysis - Developing and deploying R code in standalone or distributed environments - Debugging an existing algorithm built on machine learning using R - Ability to lead a small team of QA engineers focused on testing related set of features. - Passion for QA and knack for identifying tests that break code. - Strong grasp of operating systems concepts including filesystems, networks, and memory management. - Good understanding of algorithms and advanced data structures. - Prior experience with using or testing databases.
