* Skills Required and Job Description:*
• Required
o Developing web applications with a strong knowledge of .Net Framework
4.0+, VB.Net (or C# with willingness to use VB.Net), ASP.NET and MS SQL
Server 2005/2008
o Min 2 years of experience in designing rich dynamic web applications
using HTML5 features along with responsive design using CSS3
o Should have working knowledge of JavaScript frameworks including JQuery
and have past experience with Web Services, JSON & .NET
o Good knowledge of database design methods and techniques
o Solid understanding of a major SDLC model. Preferably experienced or at
a minimum comfortable using the Agile/SCRUM based development methodology.
o Solid understanding of source control and change management
o Strong organizational and prioritization skills with ability to manage
concurrent high priority projects
o Excellent communication skills, as well as strong problem-solving
abilities and ability to develop and document complex technical and
business requirements
o An aptitude for learning new technologies
o Self-motivated, creative and passionate about what you do
o Ability to work well independently
o Willingness for occasional after hours and weekend support
o Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• Desired Additional as a plus ( not required)
o Experience with MVP using Webforms or MVC, Entity Framework, Dependency
Injection Frameworks
o Working knowledge of WebSockets, Web Workers and/or WebAPI
o Experience in QlikView 11
o Experienced in automated unit testing and continuous integration
o Windows Server 2008+ & Hyper-V 2012 Administration
• .Net Development (70%)
o Design and development of simple to more complex applications using the
Microsoft development platform (ASP .NET, VB.Net, Visual Studio, etc.) and
open standards technologies (HTML 5, JavaScript, AJAX, CSS, etc.) for
traditional browsers and to a lesser extent mobile devices.
o Design, develop and maintain relational databases including development
of T-SQL stored procedures and DDL scripts
o Work with a project team to help determine project functional and
technical specifications, lay out time-lines and requirements
specifications.
o Ensure systems are developed, maintained, and operated to attain high
availability and business effectiveness.
o Provide review and input to users manuals, requirements specifications,
and other documents
o Technical Sales Support
• Production Support (30%)
o Perform mostly Level 2 support with some Level 1 support for hosted
solutions
o Perform production applications support including administration of
website and database instances
o Perform application deployments and upgrades
