The QA’s primary responsibility is to create and automate test cases, execute them, and incorporate them into the continuous integration environment. The QA will participate as a member of the Agile SCRUM Team automating regression tests for continuous integration testing using industry standard tools. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, establishing automated and manual application testing strategies for the sprint team, impact analysis, analysis of business requirements designs for testability, utilization of appropriate tools to develop test cases and scripts, and execution of various testing types such as functional, regression and performance testing. The QA will collaborate with other SCRUM team members and analyze the applications service offerings to develop manual, automated tests and derive test data to assure the stability and quality of applications during an agile sprint. The QA will participate in code and test planning, estimating, scheduling, implementation, automated script reviews and any other team activities. Knowledge, Experience, Education Competency: Protocols: • In-depth knowledge of Home Device Manager, Service View, Service Activation Manager, Self Support Manager, and test tools used by Motive QA Consultants. • Experience with Ghost and reimaging hardware to support testing environments. • Thorough understanding of TeamTrack and issue processing practices. • Experience in lab environments and demonstrated ability to bring up platforms, test base and new functionality, and troubleshoot issues on a short fuse to meet customer test schedules. • Experience with DSL, VDSL devices and the TR69 standards associated with those devices. • Experience testing on all Windows and Mac platforms.
