*Job description* Reston, VA Phone/Skype. This is a contract to hire opportunity supporting DHS. Candidates will be processed for a Level 3 Public Trust through DHS. This is a growing contract where the prime has a strong relationship with the customer. *Summary* Designs, develops, enhances, debugs, and implements software. Troubleshoots production problems related to software applications. Researches, tests, builds, and coordinates the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements. Designs and develops new software products or major enhancements to existing software. Evaluates effectiveness. Addresses problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms. Consults with project teams and end users to identify application requirements. Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management. Assists in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools. Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements. Required *Qualifications*: Experienced with frequent use and application of technical standards, principles and theories. Able to work under general supervision, providing solutions to technical problems of moderate scope/complexity. Must have web application development experience. Experience in MS Windows Server, MS SQL Server and Microsoft .NET Framework. Experience in C# and ASP.NET is a minimum requirement. Experience with Classic ASP is preferred. Experience with VB, JavaScript, and CSS is plus but not required.
