*Position : *Business Analyst - Payroll/HR Experience** *Location : *Madison, WI *Duration : *6 months plus * * *Essential duties* · Establish a base understanding of current business practice, including, pain points, regulatory requirements and unmet need. · Facilitate the development of improved business process – utilizing current practice, Workday best practice and industry trends. · Participate as a core project team member, supporting project activities as needed. · Document business processes via documentation standards. · Determine and document the impact of changes; suggest policy, standard, goal and rule changes. · Identify process pain points or disconnections and translate them into process improvement opportunities such as cost savings/avoidance, productivity gains, uality improvements or revenue generations. * * *Basic Qualifications* · Outstanding verbal and written skills are essential. · Experiencing in documenting current business processes. · Experience in analyzing current state documentation, customer interviews, stakeholder objectives and stakeholder objectives in order to develop a solid “to-be” business procedures. · Understand complex business problems, identify business/functional user requirements, and recommend how best to support them through processes and applications. · Experience in persuading business areas to adopt standard procedures that may not meet 100% of their business needs. · Experience developing assessment and or audit methods to monitor adherence to standard business procedures. · Experience working in a deadline-driven environment, handling and prioritizing multiple tasks. · Demonstrated track record of successful project delivery. · Excellent conceptual, problem solving, and analytical skills · Ability to work independently or as a member of a team on complex tasks. · Demonstrated competency in documenting solutions for both technical and functional audiences. *Desired Proactive Behaviors * · Display energy and initiative in solving problems. · Follow all possible avenues to get the job done. · Adaptable - undertake a variety of tasks willingly. · Ability to switch from complex to routine tasks when required. · Work effectively with a variety of personalities and work styles. · Quality - demonstrate appropriate quality and thoroughness in your work. · Decisive - ability to make decisions quickly when faced with multiple options. · Ability to influence others in decided course of action. · Integrity - act with personal integrity at all times. · Professional - work within your team's processes. · Confront problems, propose solutions and take ownership through to resolution or ensure a clear hand-off. · Have a positive can-do approach to work. *Education and Qualifications* · 4 – 7 years of Business Analyst experience, Business analyst certifications are preferred · 2+ Years analytical problem solving · 2+ years Business analyst experience in Human Resources and/or Payroll is required.
