Re: Mobile ask and capitalization

2023-02-27 Thread matthias rebbe via use-livecode
Hi,
if am not completely wrong, then autoCapitalizationType is only supported with
native fields.
To get this working you have to create your own ask dialog.

Mobile ask and capitalization

2023-02-27 Thread Dan Friedman via use-livecode
Is it possible to define the autoCapitalizationType for the ask command (for
mobile)? Seems that it's always set to "none". I would like to set it to
"sentences".

Thanks in advance!

And I believe there's a substantial cloud-based LC product on the horizon.

LCB stumbling blocks

2023-02-27 Thread Mark Wieder via use-livecode
Every time I start making serious LCB progress another stumbling
block rears its head. Putting this project back into mothballs again.

From the User Guide:

Important: It is not yet possible to write a fully functional native
widget on Linux, as there are some issues with event handling and focus.
This will be addressed in future releases.

David,

I currently use it for production. Its had 99.99% up time. The emergency help
desk response time is usually within 15 to 30 minutes. Also provides
preinstalled/help for LC server.

My two cents...

I’m wondering what the current status and plans are with Livecode hosting?

I have / had lifetime On-Rev hosting - but never really used it preferring to
host myself. Is there still a Livecode hosting option available?
