Do you really want people to be able to examine front scripts, global variables, etc.? -- regards, Geoff Canyon [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thanks Geoff-How do you add the message box to stand alones-I'd like to experiment with it! Message box in standalones
Is it possible to include the message box and its functions in standalone applications? Jack ___ use-revolution mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.runrev.com/mailman/listinfo/use-revolution

Yes imac is running fine otherwise and no other software running other than the finder! Jack ___ use-revolution mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.runrev.com/mailman/listinfo/use-revolution
Re: Rev Classic Crashing
Yes- I designed a stack with a substack on Windows 98 in rev 1.0-then I e-mailed it to my imac running os9.2 with 128 meg using rev 1.1.1. It opened fine and I can navigate thru the cards with buttons but when I go into editing and try to select an image or a field to edit-it crashes immediately and 100% of the time. Got any ideas! I've tryed to allocate more memory with the same result. Jack ___ use-revolution mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.runrev.com/mailman/listinfo/use-revolution
Re: Rev Classic Crashing
Thanks fjor the explanation-i have 128 meg in the Imac and I have nothing else open-your right -it builds to 70meg-and if I edit a file it crashes! Why does it run so smooth on windows and so marginal on the imac? Is my answer to add another 128meg! Exactly how would you set the get info box on rev? Thanks again-I need to solve this quickly so I can build several applications! Jack ___ use-revolution mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.runrev.com/mailman/listinfo/use-revolution
Rev Classic Crashing
Rev 1.1 Mac version is crashing regularly. What should the memory allocation be for the rev. application? Jack ___ use-revolution mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.runrev.com/mailman/listinfo/use-revolution

In all likelihood your iMac does not have sufficient memory assigned to the Rev application. -- Troy RPSystems www.rpsystems.net >> Thanks for the info-i increased the memory to 2k and still got the same behavior-What's my next step/ Jack ___ use-revolution mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.runrev.com/mailman/listinfo/use-revolution
Cross-platform question
I built a stack with a substack in windows 98 using Rev 1.0- I e-mailed the file to my imac 9.2 and opened it with Rev. 1.1-It opens but when I try to work on the file it crashes with a type 3 error message. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for the help Jack ___ use-revolution mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.runrev.com/mailman/listinfo/use-revolution
Ready-made buttons and fields
It would be great if one of you knowledgeable rev people would create a stack of ready made buttons and ready made fields. Some of you remember that hypercard included these in their software. These sure would help beginning programers. They could be posted for download at Runrev. Anybody interested. Jack
