Re: Uh oh, I think I Broke Something

I'd go for a completely new install of Rev into a different location - I
understand you've hacked quite a bit of Rev so you can have one hacked
version and one clean version:-)

Actually, I haven't hacked Rev at all. I have been very careful to
keep my hacking separate, going so far as to isolate everything I've
been doing from the actual IDE. However, I will try to reinstall both
and see if that helps.

Yes, definitely sounds like you've broken something.

I'd go for a completely new install of Rev into a different location - I
understand you've hacked quite a bit of Rev so you can have one hacked
version and one clean version:-)

Then do another install of Galaxy, but this time point it to the new clean
version of Rev.

Hopefully when you start the clean version of Rev, Galaxy will start like
it's suppose to and give you a proper indication of it's capabilities:-)

Uh oh, I think I Broke Something

2006-12-01 Thread Mikey

Continuing on my tour of adventure, I'm trying to use Galaxy. The
only way that Galaxy seems to start is if I open the Galaxy Studio
Startup stack manually. However, then it appears that clicking on
the edit cursor icon or the box causes me to be in some sort of weird
mode where I'm also editing the Galaxy stacks. I do not seem to be
able to overcome this obstacle at this time.

Suggestions?
