Using XP, the first run of the backdrop hid everything. Backdrop in general is just broken in Rev, has been for some time. I've reported it once and I think there are two or three bugs on it. This is just a variation on the theme, I suspect. Too bad. With cluttered desktops, the backdrop would be so useful.
