G 2.2 behind a PROXY, could not install plugins remote

2010-01-19 Thread frapien

Hello

I want to install a plugin form
http://geronimo.apache.org/plugins/geronimo-2.2/
As with G 2.1.4 I've set the environment Variable GERONIMO_OPTS=
-Dhttp.proxyHost=IP-adress
-Dhttp.proxyPort=8080

but i doen't get no errors an no Plugin-list.
I cab only get the list, when i doen'T have an WEB-PROXY between.

What has changed in G 2.2?
Second Question: If I select an plugin to install from the selected URL i
can't switch to a second e.g. http://geronimo.apache.org/plugins/openjpa2/
only by exit from GShell, not even by deploy/disconnect

Thanks, Frank

Re: Geronimo & ServiceMix

2010-01-14 Thread frapien

as far as i know, there was an old integration for Geronimo 1.1 and
serviceMix 2/3

http://servicemix.apache.org/geronimo-10-and-servicemix-2x-integration.html
http://servicemix.apache.org/geronimo-10-and-servicemix-2x-integration.html

which was under   http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/geronimo/sandbox/
http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/geronimo/sandbox/
I doen't know where it is now.

For Geronimo 3.0 there is an integration of the servicemix 4.0 karaf kernel

Good luck

Geronimo 2.2 is using [GERONIMO-4693] OpenEJB 3.1.2, so
[GERONIMO-4918] - EJB 3.1 Singleton Support is in it.
please see http://openejb.apache.org/openejb-312.html
and try the OpenEJB Eclipse Plugin Alpha Release 1.0.0.alpha
http://blogs.apache.org/openejb/
which supports EJB 3.1 annotation

Re: Trying to set up a MDB

2009-10-30 Thread frapien

for your MDB you should have an openejb-jar.xml an therefore openejb-jar tags
see

OrderRecvMDB

jms-resources

The jms-resources.xml should be in your EAR-file
A running example you can found under IBM
wasce_samples-2.1.1.2\applications\jms-mdb
Important is the Geronimo specific deployment plan geronimo-application.xml
in which you declare the dependen modules

http://geronimo.apache.org/xml/ns/j2ee/application-2.0";>
http://geronimo.apache.org/xml/ns/deployment-1.2";>

${pom.groupId}
${pom.artifactId}
${version}
car

   geronimo-activemq-ra-${geronimoVersion}.rar
   jms-resources.xml

Alternativly you can use
http://download.boulder.ibm.com/ibmdl/pub/software/websphere/wasce/plugins-2.1.1.1/
http://download.boulder.ibm.com/ibmdl/pub/software/websphere/wasce/plugins-2.1.1.1/

for Geronimo 2.1.3 or
http://download.boulder.ibm.com/ibmdl/pub/software/websphere/wasce/plugins-2.1.1.2/
http://download.boulder.ibm.com/ibmdl/pub/software/websphere/wasce/plugins-2.1.1.2/

for Geronimo 2.1.4.

Build the daytrader application from 2.1.3 branch URL
