Its pretty much impossible to debug java code without knowing what it is - no stack trace etc.Can you also elaborate on what you mean by running from Java code. J Meter - Solace JMS MQ - Issue
Hi Team, I am using Jmeter for solace jms MQ. I have used JMS subscriber and JMS publisher sampler to establish the connection and pass the input request. As per existing solace queue details, I need to pass the JMS VPN details along with other details however I don't find any input parameter to pass the VPN detail. There is a checkbox to select the jndi.properties file but not sure where can I place it for jmeter to pick at the start up. I'll appreciate, if someone can share his views on it. Unable to POST using HTTPSampler from java code
I am trying to add a POST sampler with JSON body data to my test plan through java code. On running from java code,it always throws Unable to deserialize json error. but when i run .jmx file in jmeter UI it runs fine. what can possibly be the step am missing in java code ? Using external data within a loop
I have a JMeter script that needs multiple simultaneous users to log in, then each user loops through a number of customer setup actions. Each setup action requires a separate set of input values (customer id, customer email, customer phone). Note, these are different from the login credentials. The customer setup values cannot be re-used within a thread or across threads. My script has a single thread group and within the thread group, I have a loop for that user to enter multiple customer setups. Here is my question: I know I can use the CSV Data Set to give each thread group (user) its own login credentials. How do I set up and access and external file to get the customer credentials (ID, email, phone) for the loop that sets up customers within a thread? In other words, I need to cycle through a set of customer credentials WITHIN a single thread group. I don't think I can use a CSV Data Set for this because those are controlled by threads. Can I set up a separate CSV Data Set for the looping within a single thread? Can I append a loop counter onto a variable name and have all looped values for a thread in the single CSV file after the login credentials? (login, password, custID1, custemail1, custphon1, custID2, custemail2, custphon2, etc) Is this something I would use CSVRead function for? Set up a second CSV file with unique customer credentials on each line, then let all thread loops just access the next line for user creds? Is there another way to do this? Thanks. Geoff Endris
Re: Perfmon Plugin Metrics in Jmeter
I've been using Splunk + NMON Performance Monitor for Unix and Linux Systems for that purpose. You many need to have some understanding of how splunk works to get this done, but i believe for that purpose only the free license 500MB may be enough. In the other hand you will need a mid-power machine to run splunk installation. If this is a linux server you want to collect metrics from you can use SAR saving data to a binary file and reading it using a tool such as KSAR This is what we did before i got Splunk set, run this command per host at the start of your testing *sar -o /tmp/sar_datafile.txt 5 720 >/dev/null 2>&1 &* where -o is the output file 5 is the frequency of sampling (every 5 s) 720 how many samples before it ends Than move that output file to a server you have KSAR on and open it with KSAR. This article maybe helpful to understand the SAR + KSAR thing : http://www.cyberciti.biz/tips/identifying-linux-bottlenecks-sar-graphs-with-ksar.html On Tue, Jun 14, 2016 at 8:08 AM, sebbwrote: > On 14 June 2016 at 11:35, Deepak Goel wrote: > > Is there a way to monitor server statistics without using a plugin in > > Jmeter. I have started the serveragent. It is running on port 2. I have disabled firewall 3.
