[Ann] Java Conference in Barcelona : JBCNConf

2016-03-23 Thread Jonathan Vila Lopez
Hi guys !!!

As the last year we had very good results with our Java conference in
Barcelona, this 2016 we've repeated the experience.

www.jbcnconf.com

So, we would really need that people send us Papers to talk in it, and
obviously if you want to listen to good ( and not comercial) talks, do a
good networking in an amazing place ( Barcelona, sun, beach, good food,
paella, architecture, art ) and share your knowledge please go ahead
and send your proposal or buy your ticket to come :)

Thank you and hope to see some of you there.

Where it is configured the name of the key for SSL

2015-01-17 Thread Jonathan Vila Lopez
Hello

It seems that the key installed inside keystore.jks in the ext folder for
karaf ( these files I think are installed by default for Talend ) has to be
named "mykey" . Otherwise the SSL does not work.

Where I can configure that name to put a real meaningfull name to my key ?

Kind regards.

Re: Start Karaf with a specific JRE

2014-11-16 Thread Jonathan Vila Lopez
Hello

As JeanBaptiste has told me in the IRC channel, the solution is to modify
the /bin/setenv file defining the JAVA_HOME for Karaf.

It's a well documented file and so easy to fix.

Thank you all.

Oki, but I only want Karaf to use Java7.
Do I have to export JAVA_HOME from the linux shell before everytime I start

EntityManager injected is always null

2014-11-15 Thread Jonathan Vila Lopez
Hello

I have a bundle with persistence.xml, and I have created a command that I
would like to execute an operation with the EntityManager .

But everytime I get a NPE because the entitymanager is null.

I have this in my blueprint.xml

http://karaf.apache.org/xmlns/shell/v1.0.0";>

Maybe the problem is related that in the command I use the class but not
the bean with the service injected ? How do I use a bean as the command ?

Kind regards.

OpenJPA is not creating my tables

2014-11-08 Thread Jonathan Vila Lopez
Hello

I dont know if this question is Karaf related or not, so sorry if I'm
sending the question to the wrong place.

I have a bundle with a persistence.xml, using OpenJPA and a H2 database (
but I've tried also with Derby ).

I think that whenever I install the bundle in Karaf and start it, openjpa
would habe to create the tables in the database associated with the
datasource.

But the issue is that nothing happens in the database, and also I can not
find any error in karaf log or in openjpa log ( I've set the log to a file
).

This is my persistence file :

http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/persistence";>

org.apache.openjpa.persistence.PersistenceProviderImpl
osgi:service/javax.sql.DataSource/(
osgi.jndi.service.name=jdbc/route-test-ds)
  com.tesipro.conectores.api.domain.ConectorLog
true

And this is my blueprint file where I create the datasource :

http://www.osgi.org/xmlns/blueprint/v1.0.0";
   xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance";
xmlns:ext="http://aries.apache.org/blueprint/xmlns/blueprint-ext/v1.3.0";
   xsi:schemaLocation="
   http://www.osgi.org/xmlns/blueprint/v1.0.0
http://www.osgi.org/xmlns/blueprint/v1.0.0/blueprint.xsd";>

Any help why my tables are not created into the database ?

Re: Derby database and error with jdbc:datasources

2014-11-03 Thread Jonathan Vila Lopez
Hello

I tried first using the jdbc feature commands, as explained in Christian
examples. but for a reason I dont know my tables ( from my JPA entities
) were not created, and then tried with a "remote" datasource to my
localhost database to check if it worked.

I will try again with the embedded karaf Derby database...

Re: Derby database and error with jdbc:datasources

2014-11-03 Thread Jonathan Vila Lopez
Well, I'm new with derby, I have installed the derby bundle and the
derbyclient bundle.
I don't know how to start derby with the derby bundle installed.

My intention is to have a memory database, create the structure from the
JPA entities and populate test data every time I start my bundle just to do
integration tests to a faster database than the production one.

Maybe I'm completely wrong about the architecture.

Derby database and error with jdbc:datasources

2014-11-02 Thread Jonathan Vila Lopez
Hello

I'm trying to use Derby database for my bundle, and this bundle has a
blueprint file with the datasource.

But when I execute : jdbc:datasources it gives an error :

Caused by: ERROR 08001: java.net.ConnectException: Error al conectarse al
servidor localhost en el puerto 1.527 con el mensaje Conexión rehusada.

( Error connecting to server localhost at port 1527 with message Conection
rejected )

This is my blueprint file :

http://www.osgi.org/xmlns/blueprint/v1.0.0";
   xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance";
   xmlns:camel="http://camel.apache.org/schema/blueprint";
   xmlns:cm="
http://aries.apache.org/blueprint/xmlns/blueprint-cm/v1.0.0";
   xsi:schemaLocation="
   http://www.osgi.org/xmlns/blueprint/v1.0.0
http://www.osgi.org/xmlns/blueprint/v1.0.0/blueprint.xsd
   http://camel.apache.org/schema/blueprint
http://camel.apache.org/schema/blueprint/camel-blueprint.xsd";>

Kind regards.
