2019-03-07 Thread Schumann Ye
Dear Mike,

It would be helpful if you could explain it step by step.
Or if you’ve experienced some failure notices that we could tell from?
It should be working if you have set up your JAVA environment correctly.

Be noted that depending on your browser strategy, you might receive the message
that the link is not secure or not safe.
Just click to proceed with it.

Hi,

I followed these instructions at
https://ofbiz.apache.org/business-users.html#UsrInstall and I get
nothing to work. Web browser shows;

 Safari can't open the page "https://localhost:8443/accounting;
can't connect to the server "localhost".

In Terminal all the ./gradlew commands seem to be doing something
because there are no errors yet also no results. Is there a way I can
test that anything is being built/performed?

I think I'm missing something obvious but I'm not a developer.

I'm running macOS 10.14.3 Java 1.8.0_201 OFBiz 16.11.05

Where do I start to trouble shoot this?

Thanks,

Mike

myportal config.

2019-03-07 Thread wp . rauchholz
I'd appreciate a hint form the community in what I am doing wrong with the
myportal setup. I get a long error message when accessing:
org.apache.ofbiz.widget.renderer.ScreenRenderException: Error rendering screen
[component://common.

That is what I did:
I added a new security group MYPORTAL_EMPLOYEE (as in demo).
In permissions I added amongst others: MYPORTALBASE_ADMIN ALL MyPortal base
operations and
I created then a new Portal Page ID added as 'Owner User Login ID' my own
login, set the Security Group Id to MYPORTAL_EMPLOYEE and added portlets.

But still not working, what am I missing?
What I notices is that - in contrast to the demo version - when I go to
Preferences part in MyPortal, I only can create a new Portal Page, the the ones
created do not show up there.

Thanks, WOlfgang

2019-03-07 Thread Yashwant Dhakad
Hi Fawzi,
I am adding few more lines in Deepak comments. Put the fonts with the
following name SimplifiedArabic-Bold.ttf and Simplified Arabic-Regular.ttf
at framework/resources/fonts/ location and then change the
framework/resources/fonts/NotoSans
with
framework/resources/fonts/
in fop.xconf file.
and also change the fop.font.family=SimplifiedArabic
in framework/webapp/config/fop.properties file

And I download fonts from this site
https://fontzone.net/download/simplified-arabic and
https://fontzone.net/download/simplified-arabic-bold

Thanks & Regards

Hey everyone..
I'am currently working on 18.12 release.
Uploading Customer document is not working for me.
It's giving an error as required parameter is missing i.e
the partyContentTypeId parameter.
Although i'am passing the required parameter. But it's still giving me
the same error message.
I traced the request and figure out that its running a service named
as uploadPartyContentFile and that service is calling bunch of other
services.

Can Anyone help me to figure this out?

Thank You..
