I just downloaded the last trunk version(749545) from the repository.
Now, some, not all, specialcharacters are converted. Like bellow;

Yes, there is a short list with six VisualThemeResources in the
ThemeData.xml but are there more. For example could I override the
login.ftl?

Re: The following required parameter is missing: [IN]

2009-02-10 Thread Roel Veldhuizen
I've added the IN parameters but still I get the error. I think I know
what happens but don't know how to fix it.

I get the error on the moment I enter the page. When I fill the
firstname en lastname field and press submit the error disappears and
the person is added to the database. So, I think that the service is
also called on the moment I enter the page.

Could my analyses be right? And how can I fix it?

The Following Errors Occurred:
The following required parameter is missing: [IN] [createPerson.firstName]
The following required parameter is missing: [IN] [createPerson.lastName]

Why do they occur?

Mark-up of forms

2009-02-09 Thread Roel Veldhuizen
Hi All,

How can I adapt the markup of a form? For example I want the form
shown in two columns with input fields instead of one.
If this is not possible in a form xml, could I build forms in ftl pages?

Internationalization

code of ofbiz ( trunk ) I conclude that this is changed. Isn't it? How
does it work today?

Decorate with common decoration.

How can include the common decoration in this page to get the ofbiz look?

Include javascripts.

In the header.ftl you can find loop where all javascripts are
included. How can I add a javascript to this list?

Re: Best way to implement design and workflow

2009-01-19 Thread Roel Veldhuizen
I use the framework and the application layer and I want to alter
their presentation layer. For now I did some modifications to the
maincss.css, appbar.ftl and header.ftl. What I ask myself is, is this
the right way to do this? Because, I want to be able to update my
version in the future.

Second, I want to alter the flow of some applications and also be able
to update my version with the one in the ofbiz repository.
What is the best way to this? What should I keep in mind?

Thanks in advance,
