Simplified Chinese characters are displayed as square boxes in POS
Hi, I am using Windows XP Simplified Chinese Version SP3, Sun JDK5.0 Update 20. I want to run Apache Ofbiz POS; however, the Chinese characters (zh) in PosUiLabels.xml are all displayed as square boxes in POS panel. I have tested run Ofbiz in Mac OS X and the Simplified Chinese are displayed normally, and other languages can also be displayed in Windows XP. I think there should be some settings in fontconfig.properties in %JAVA_HOME%\jre\lib that I can work on. But I don't know what is going wrong. I have copied the font SimSun.ttf to %JAVA_HOME%\jre\lib\fonts. What should I do? POS resolution 800x600
Hi, I have just modified the hard code variables in /specialpurpose/pos/screens/default to fit 800x600 resolution by ratio. But the screen seems biased to the upper left. How can I adjust it to the center? It is quite common that the headquarter is in U.S., and a Physical Retail
Store is in Europe.
Do I have to run two instances of Ofbiz for these two orgainzations, each
other with different default currency settings?

Why not run ant run-install-seed instead? What is seed-initial? Hi, I have created a new top category Umbrella [2027] in Demo . And I decided to move the category under Demo Browse Root [CATALOG1]. I click Choose Top Category - [2027] - and fill in CATALOG1 in Primary Parent Category field. Then I click Choose Top Category again, the [2027] is still in there. Cannot open in POS mode
Hi, I can successfully open the Catalog Manager application in Windows by running either: %JAVA_HOME%\bin\java -Xms128M -Xmx512M -jar ofbiz.jar (or running startofbiz.bat) but I fail to open in POS mode by running: %JAVA_HOME%\bin\java -Xms128M -Xmx512M -jar ofbiz.jar -pos After executing the above command, there is a full grey screen with buttons in the right hand side and only the number pad is highlighted and enabled.
