Re: cannot upload file to my files

2017-11-27 Thread Maxim Solodovnik
The answer is depends on:
1) which user is used to start OM
2) which user owns OM_HOME
in most cases permission issue can be solved using `chown` command

Can you run "the command" on your server and check the logs?
What OS do you have on your server?

screen sharing and recording

2017-11-27 Thread Tom Luo
Hi,

I installed the latest version from here
https://builds.apache.org/view/M-R/view/OpenMeetings/job/OpenMeetings%204.0.x/

However, this time the screen sharing and recording do not work.
When I clicked the button, no response at all.
I remember in previous versions, when I clicked the button, it would
download a .npl file.
This time, I don't see any response.

Do you know how to fix this problem?

Thanks,

Tom

Re: Enter and leave class event triggers

2017-11-27 Thread Maxim Solodovnik
Hello Daniel,

These events are being generated
1) in the DB conference_log table
2) in UI you can open Action and Activities and see "user leaves" events

There are plans to improve this:
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OPENMEETINGS-1768
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OPENMEETINGS-858

Enter and leave class event triggers

2017-11-27 Thread Daniel Baker

Hi,

Does OM generate any events for when  an admin or student  enters and
leaves the room ?

Where can I see those events ?   Are those events logged ?

Thanks,

Dan

Hello Martin,

By default both camera and microphone are disabled until user will choose
correct devices and allow to use it
Most probably device list will be inaccessible until you will set up HTTPS

Re: reset Windows-Positions

2017-11-27 Thread Rene Scholz

Hello Maxim,

I understand.
I ask me why Adobe Flash ask not for the certificate I made a
"keystore.jks" and "truststore.jks"?

That he asked when I try to access by client too.

Short: I have a actual cerificate for my subdomain "om.abakusde".
I generate an email out of my room. Then I take another PC and open the
generated link. It opens (without a question - right), then I see
the grant for flash-access. I click to grant and then I get the question
if I want to accept the (expired) certificate from "abakus...de".

Without "om.".
So I think my OM uses the right subdomain with https, but the flash uses
not this.

Best regards,

Rene

You can try to allow permission globally
Via flash "global security settings"

Rclick->global settings

Hello Maxim,

Great that you ar so forsighted and implemented some helpful
things in OM.

Where I can define the certificate what Flash used? "My" OM uses
the certificate of my subdomain but when I activate flash a new
question to grant appears.
And there is the certificate of the (expired) main-domain, not the
subdomain I want.

Best regards,

Rene

PS: Thank you for the info with the flash. OpenMeetings is a
wonderful program and without the necessary of Adobe flash it will
be a lot of more nicer.

Could you tell me browser dimension and video resolution?

In OM Flash is REQUIRED for both sending and receiving audio
and/or video
Hopefully situation will be improved in future releases

Actually flash itself and browsers are being regularly updated,
and flash is now being used for A/V only and you can set it up
fully secure
I'm planing to start WebRTC related investigations after
releasing 4.0.1

reset Windows-Positions

2017-11-27 Thread René Scholz

Hello,

how I can reset the positions of the windows?
The question-window to allow flash is out of my browser-screen.
No click accepted, no Enter or something else. And the cam-window is out
too.
