Re: [jira] [Commented] (OPENMEETINGS-1868) Create link to webcam and mic settings on dashboard

2018-05-23 Thread Daniel Ascher
Hi Maxim. Thanks for your response. I also think it's a good idea to ask
for input from other users about this issue. And I would be happy to create
the jira issue once we have a solution.

Regarding the "text I would like to see" under the dialog box, you could
just add "After saving your audio and video settings you may close this
browser tab." What do you think about that?

Thanks again. Dan

Re: [jira] [Commented] (OPENMEETINGS-1868) Create link to webcam and mic settings on dashboard

2018-05-23 Thread Maxim Solodovnik
Hello Daniel,

I would like to propose to discuss it on user@ list
I don't believe it is good idea to close tab since most probably "Are
you sure" JS prompt will be displayed

I can show any text under dialog no problem, could you please provide
me with text you would like to see?

Alternatively I can redirect user to Sign-in page, but this will lead
to 2 tabs with OM

What option would you prefer?
Maybe there are some other option I'm missing?

PS Could you please create another JIRA as soon as we find out the
best way of implementing this? :))

 Yes, but if a user is logged in to an OM instance, how does he or she
 locate the privacy policy? Maybe a link should be placed on this page?

 Hello All,

 I would like to add short instruction to the site on how to
 customize privacy policy
 Where should it go:
 1) Configuration->User Interface
 2) Configuration->Customization
 3) somewhere else

 ?
