Re: Red5 never starts ...

2017-06-17 Thread Alvaro
...if is not internet connection, will not run well,
or not run completly, employing a long time.

All this, as for the most of servers, it is because
Centos 7, Debian and the most OSs actually, are change to
systemd.
Me, and many other Linux users, we are very angry
about it.
Therefore, when you run a server, need to be connected
to internet. The server comunicate with...what? in internet.
Some time, the users in this list, asked to you, Maxim,
if you developpe it when launch OM to connect with...what?

The reason is systemd.

2017-06-19 Thread Alvaro
Hello Maxim,

I've seen "Call for logo" page today, and look that
now is different to time ago.
Could you please say me, if your looking for it is the
same than before or now will choose one?

Thanks

Alvaro

Ok. Could you please delete my two square logo, numbers
2 and 5 (are the same). They are too old.

Thanks

On Debian 9, the installation of swftools is get it.

The installation of flash-player for Chrome is Ok,
but for Firefox i must do it handlly.

The compillation of ffmpeg is impossible untill now.
Always get these errors:

=

CC ffmpeg_hw.o
CC ffmpeg_cuvid.o

salida

Makefile:141: fallo en las instrucciones para el objetivo 'ffmpeg_g'
make: *** [ffmpeg_g] Error 1

=

It is the same on Ubuntu 17.04, about ffmpeg. For swftools
is more problems, but i got install it in a strange way, and
works right.

Re: Network connection error

2017-09-29 Thread Alvaro
...from my Mac OS Sierra 10.12.6, firefox 50.1.0, flash
player 25.0 r0, as client can connect to my OM 3.3.2 server
on Debian 9 without problems. Right whiteboard, cam and sound
and recording.

So your problem can be something about network.

New installation tutorials OpenMeetings 4.0.0 on several OS's

2017-11-05 Thread Alvaro
Hello,

Two days ago, Maxim launched the new OpenMeetings 4.0.0 release.

I had to modify the ffmpeg compilation scripts
because the most recent sources of it have
a bug, and in all the operating systems in which
a tryied compile it i've gotten a mistake.

I had to resort to a last year version of FFmpeg.
I have tested and recorded correctly in the rooms.

The new tutorials to install this version, are to your disposition in:

https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/OPENMEETINGS/Tutorials+for+
installing+OpenMeetings+and+Tools

Modified java in tutorial OpenMeetings on Ubuntu 14.04

2017-11-20 Thread Alvaro
Hello

I have modified the tutorial:

Installation OpenMeetings on Ubuntu 14.04

... in the step concerning the installation
of Java.

I've replaced OpenJava with Oracle Java,
since in Ubuntu 14.04, the plugin Icedtea
working with OpenJava gives error sometimes,
So you cannot record or share desktop.

Now it works properly.
You can download it if you like.

Best regards

Alvaro

ffmpeg compiled in Windows is it legal to public¿?

2017-12-17 Thread Alvaro
Hello Maxim,

I've compiled with success ffmpeg 3.4.1, last version,
in Windows 10 with:

lame 3.100 .downloaded from sourceforge

fdk-aac 0.1.5 ...downloaded from sourceforge

last_x264 ..downloaded from videolan

ffmpeg 3.4.1 downloaded from ffmpeg.org

This is my question: is it legal upload and public
these files, ffmpeg.exe, ffprobe.exe, lame.exe and
x264.exe for anyone?

Because you said something about fdk-aac...?

The recordings in OpenMeetings-Windows are rights.

Thanks

Alvaro

Re: New tutorial FFmpeg compilation in Windows 10 ready

2017-12-18 Thread Alvaro
...and is not two without three...

I upload for thirt time the tutorial.

I was update x264-snapshot-20171214-2245
...to
x264-snapshot-20171214-2245-stable

...and it is not the same. Originaly
i works with x264-snapshot-20171214-2245
and it was right compilation. The stable
version give error.

Right now i've compiled twice ffmpeg 3.4.1
following the tutorial, and both are
Ok.

So, please don't update the x-264 version.

Sorry again.

Re: New tutorial FFmpeg compilation in Windows 10 ready

2017-12-18 Thread Alvaro
...and once more. In the tuto, clic on:

https://download.videolan.org/pub/x264/snapshots/x264-snapshot-20171214
-2245.tar.bz2

...but download:

 x264-snapshot-20171214-2245-stable.tar.bz2

Then i've deleted the link and type it again.
Now yes download x264-snapshot-20171214-2245.tar.bz2

This is the four time uploading the tuto.
Hope this is the last...

...if you use the version files that say
the tutorial, must work right the compilation.

When is a "Warn ...ignored". there is no problem.
when "Error " is because x264 file is a
different version than the tutorial say.

Ok, now in the tutorial is OpenJava and no Oracle Java.
The errors in the ffmpeg compilation are solved.I've added two new
commands in the script andcompile right.
I've tested on a fresh installation of Centos 7 anda fresh installation
of OpenMeetings 4.0.4 also.
Please download again the tutorial and delete thesefolders before
compile newly (run the commands):
rm -R /root/ffmpeg_sources
rm -R /root/ffmpeg_build
rm -R /root/bin

Re: Loading Problem

2018-07-19 Thread Alvaro
Ok, Thanks.
The question is that in Centos repos the versions are prior to the
necessary.
For example nasm is 2.10.07 in Centos 7 but ffmpeg compilation need
2.13 minimum. The best of Ubuntu is that update the versions paquets
verysoon.
Following the ffmpeg web step by step gives more than one error, but
withmy two commands added is no error.

Re: Loading Problem

2018-07-20 Thread Alvaro
The PATH variable in Centos 7 is:
[guadal@tosa ~]$ echo
$PATH/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/sbin:/home/guada
l/.local/bin:/home/guadal/bin
Tecnically, as you know, the best way it is the mostsimple...if works
right.
For what complicate to newbies about PATH?They will ask:
what is PATH environment?where is this?can i modifycate it?how to do
it?
All these questions are unneccessary (for the theme we aretalking
about).Simply with my two commands added in the script
"ffmpeg_centos7.sh"and in the ffmpeg  web page, it are the same, there
is no error compilation.
Thanks anyway.
Alvaro
