Max,

your comment "you have to additionally share your audio", what exactly do
you mean by this?

Screenshare with host system audio

2021-09-28 Thread Jeffry Johnson
I had put in a ticket in Jira regarding the streaming of audio from a host
machine while screensharing and was told that this feature already exists.
However, when we do screenshare, audio is not shared from the host machine.
Is there a configuration I'm missing somewhere for this item?

looks like my dev team figured it out and fixed the frame size for

We are having issues with constant refresh of frame sizing when sharing
desktop streams. Where would we find the functions to set a fixed larger
frame size?

Re: OM and Media server separated-recording issue

So I looked at all the screen files and they all have good recordings of
video.

I have tried all weekend to set the acl to have x perms and they show on
the getfacl for the directories, but every time a new webm files is created
it lacks x on ALL levels.

Re: OM and Media server separated-recording issue

2021-09-18 Thread Jeffry Johnson
I have upgraded to running on tomcat34. Issue remains identical.

Unfortunately, the version of chrome and ff on my machine are set by the
organization and we are on front motion ff 67 and version 92 of chrome. I
can't change then.

I am attempting to set the facl on the data dir to have x perms on all new
files but it doesn't seem to be working.

I will send the db info tomorrow but I can say that I have tomcat running
as root because I wrote a service and enabled it in systemd to
automatically run when the server is rebooted.

Is this what you mean? If I seem inept it's because I only started
this job less than 4 months ago with ZERO experience in any of this
and have had to learn it all on the fly. The location exists, I can
see the webm files now that our Server team created the NFS mount for
me.

OM and Media server separated-recording issue

2021-09-17 Thread Jeffry Johnson
We discovered we had an issue with recordings and I believe it's because we
separated our media server and om server for stability. I had an nfs
mounted share created and now we are seeing the webm files.

The issue now is, I believe, that the prices to convert the recording is
being kicked off before the file is seen by om in the data directory. Has
this been encountered before? Should we put in a delay in the conversion
function? If so, where would be the best place to put that delay in?

We actually are only beginning a POC with AWS. the clustering I'm taking
about right now are servers we are deploying in various regions our company
operates in running in RHEL 7. thank you for the link, I will do the
reading. And yes, Apache zookeeper, and that's what I thought as I read the
site in that it was geared more toward file syncing.

Re: Issue with Oauth2 integration

2021-08-07 Thread Jeffry Johnson
So we actually managed to fix this issue. The userinfo endpoint from
Microsoft does not return any claims aside from sub which is really just
garbage.

We created a site to pass the at
Access token to that decodes and returns the claims in the access token.

Open meetings oauth2 needs a redesign that will allow us to pick if we want
to use a userinfo endpoint or just use an id token returned from the token
endpoint. I'd be happy to provide more data for this upgrade if needed and
any guidance you might need but this would allow Microsoft adfs users
integrate a lot easier.

Issue with Oauth2 integration

2021-07-30 Thread Jeffry Johnson
We are trying to get ADFS to work with our instance of OM. See
https://issues.apache.org/jira/projects/OPENMEETINGS/issues/OPENMEETINGS-2633
for
the bug reported by one of our developers. I am getting successful token
responses, but I need to know how to map OM attributes to claims from the
response. Such as: c:[Type == "
http://schemas.microsoft.com/ws/2008/06/identity/claims/windowsaccountname";,
Issuer == "AD AUTHORITY"]
=> issue(store = "Active Directory", types = ("
http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/claims/FirstName";, "
http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/claims/LastName";, "
http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/ws/2005/05/identity/claims/emailaddress";, "
http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/claims/EmployeeID";, "
http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/claims/ManagerEmail";, "
http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/ws/2005/05/identity/claims/nameidentifier";),
query = ";givenName,sn,mail,employeeID,managerEmail,sAMAccountName;{0}",
param = c.Value);

Please help!

Re: Breakout rooms

This would be the major difference between om and zoom and WebEx for sure.
It's a feature our developers need to implement it om is unable to provide
soon.

Is it typical to have the media server installed on the same server as the
open meetings application?

I upgraded our insurance to the new 6.1.0 release but I am unable to find
the new om theme configuration option in admin. Is this a known issue?

Yes that is exactly what I mean. I was just curious if anyone had ever been
able to implement it. Thx!
