Re: WB user switching

2018-08-20 Thread Maxim Solodovnik
Hello Aaron,

sorry for the late response I was OOO
Currently it is impossible

In previous versions following logic was implemented: regular user can
switch to any WB (and this action will not be synchronous)
But then moderator switches WB and/or slide - it will also happens for others

We have one request to limit WB access to some users
i.e. teacher creates several white boards with different exam variants
and assign each WB to particular student(s)

To implement this some sort of ACL need to be added
not sure what would be the best option to satisfy all requests

could you please file JIRA regarding this, so

WB user switching

2018-08-15 Thread aaron.hepp
Not sure if it is possible but is there a way to allow users to switch WBs
themselves without giving them permission to change the WB. With multiple
WBs open in a room, the users are only allowed to view the WB being
manipulated by the person in control. Was wondering if there was a way to
give the ability of users to move their view to a different WB if they need
to review something that was upload to another WB.
