Re: Log4j upgrade in spark binary from 1.2.17 to 2.17.1

2022-01-29 Thread Sean Owen
This has been discussed extensively on this list. See the archives. TL;DR
is current releases do not appear to be vulnerable. But 3.3.0 will move to
log4j 2 anyway

planned to upgrade the log4j from 1.2.17 to 2.17.1.Any sooner response is

Re: Kafka to spark streaming

2022-01-29 Thread Mich Talebzadeh
So you have a classic architecture with spark receiving events through a
kafka topic via kafka-spark-connector, do something with it and send data
out to the consumer. Are you using Spark structured streaming here with
batch streaming? check

2022-01-29 Thread Gengliang Wang
Thanks to Huaxin for driving the release!

Fengyu, this is a known issue that will be fixed in the 3.3 release.
Currently, the "hadoop3.2" means 3.2 or higher. See the thread
https://lists.apache.org/thread/yov8xsggo3g2qr2p1rrr2xtps25wkbvj for
more details.
