Try to set the memory size limits. For example:
./bin/spark-submit --class org.apache.spark.examples.SparkPi --master
yarn --deploy-mode cluster --driver-memory 4g
--executor-memory 2g --executor-cores 1
./examples/jars/spark-examples_2.11-2.0.0.2.5.2.0-47.jar
By default yarn prefers to kill containers not only by physical but
virtual memory limit.
You could also try to set
yarn.nodemanager.vmem-check-enabled
to false (yarn-site.xml)
