Re: Way of reading this mailing list as a heirachy
GMail also has a Basic HTML version that doesn't rely on JavaScript. Both versions use what they call a "Conversation View" to group messages. It's not really a hierarchy, but it does group all of the messages on a particular subject together. They're strictly in sequence, though, rather than being in a tree based on which message was actually being replied to. -- Jeff On 5/17/05, Adam Hardy <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > On 16/05/05 19:24 Michael Jouravlev wrote: > > Gmail actually works pretty well for me. Just get Thunderbird and you'll be much happier http://www.mozilla.org/products/thunderbird/ And Gregory your crazy recomending Mutt:) When I was on Linux I enjoyed my time plaing with it... spending hours getting the configuration files just right and learning a billion different hot keys. But unless you need to shh or telnet to your e-mails, Mutt is just a huge time sink for little gain. Sure it's powerful if you have a month to study it, but even with it's power, someone can be up and running with Thunderbird in 5 minutes and have 99% of the functionality of Mutt. -- Rick - To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

You could also use a web-based mailing list archive such as Nabble: http://www.nabble.com/Struts---User-f206.html -- Sent from the Struts - User forum at Nabble.com: http://www.nabble.com/Way-of-reading-this-mailing-list-as-a-heirachy-t5584.html#a18086

I like mutt a lot (www.mutt.org), but I'm of the opinion that an inherently text-based medium like email is best read with a text-based client. You may feel differently, in which case you might want to try Thunderbird (www.mozilla.org). Both clients are both free (no cost) and Free (open source). --Greg - To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
