and this renders as:
15
input type=submit value=Default
onclick=setWKey('defaultFilter',%= key %);
and I would like it to render as
15
input type=submit value=Default
onclick=setWKey('defaultFilter',15);

If you want to specify an attribute value using a runtime expression,
you have to make the entire thing an expression:
onclick=%= setWKey('defaultFilter', + key + ); %
