I tried with Following code, but nothing works, what did I miss?

xmlOptions.setSaveCDataLengthThreshold(1);
XmlObject response = XmlObject.Factory.newInstance(xmlOptions);
NotesType.Note note = response.addNewNoteTyp();
XmlCursor c = note.newCursor();
c.toFirstChild();
c.toNextToken();
c.setBookmark(CDataBookmark.CDATA_BOOKMARK);
