To experience the actual wonder is far beyond what any 3D
Imax movie theatre can _currently_ offer of course .
Yeah, it was a kind of pointless statement from me... it's of course not
about a competition between reality and CG or other art, but sometimes the
'real stuff' is so overwhelmingly complex and beautiful it almost makes me
feel humble. Almost ;)
However , the APOD 2D (and 3D-Stereo) archive can and will be
easily outdone by talented artists using S/W such as RS3D .
I'll have to check that out!

camera-matching was incredible for 2000 . Some also found
the plot incredible too .

Saw it on DVD, the particle effects are awesome indeed!
But I prefer any movie by Aki Kaurismäki, no special effects whatsoever -
the best Finnish export product next to RS3d ;)
