Re: Realsoft3D related Animation
http://www.studiodynamics.net/rs_proc/cyberdunes.mp2 Hi Arjo : Glad it played for you . Years ago no one could play it unless they had some kind of hardware mpeg2 player ( I had the Hollywood Player) . Now , with faster computers we can easily use S/W decoders . studio > I've got WindowsXP. > I just found, it has got an mp3 extension behind the mp2. In fact , the beginning sequence of algorithmic waves was done in Real3D V3.53 . The music is also mine , done with an excellent music program , E-Jay . Very easy to use . I call this track 'Cyber-Train' , and the type of music I have been calling "Industrial Trance" , because it is so hard core trance . The Dunes were done in WCS V4 , the foreground rock was done in Real3D V.53 too . The music was sync'd up to the anim in After Effects , and all alpha channels combined there . I've lost the original files and even the .avi , and all I have left is this mpeg2 (or .vob) and the orig projects . An attempt at mpeg2 to .avi resulted in a very bad looking anim (lot's of banding on the dunes). Cheers ! studio

Gary WINXP Pro, Windows Media Player 10 - all fine. Enlighten us on the story behind the anim? Is it a WIP? All done in RS? You do this? Me Curious :) Cheers Aidan At 08:11 12/12/2006, you wrote: Hi : http://www.studiodynamics.net/rs_proc/cyberdunes.mp2 14 MB - 352 x 480 The above animation begins with a RS3D logarithmic wave animation . The foreground "rock" is also RS3D . Music is original , via E-Jay (demo) . The anim is mpeg2 and if it does not play , try re-naming it to 'cyberdunes.vob' or similiar . Please let me know if it plays OK (or not) on your S/W platform of choice . Thanks . studio -- No virus found in this incoming message. Checked by AVG Free Edition. RE: Realsoft3D related Animation
I've got WindowsXP. I just found, it has got an mp3 extension behind the mp2. Stripping both extension and changing it into vob made it play in powerdvd. The dunes look convincing, I just didn't understand the music/image combination. I mean the music is rather busy compared to the image. It is an mpeg2 file . Try to just drag/drop it into some of your video programs . I love to promote programs like VLC Media Player ... www.videolan.org . This program will play anything you care to throw at it ! (Mac or Windows only) What S/W do Linux users use to view mpeg2/vob files (does anyone know?) . Thanks studio
RE: Realsoft3D related Animation
Hi Garry, It doesn't play on my system. I see the Quicktime logo, and after downloading the file, a question mark appears within the Quicktime logo. I saved it to my desktop and tried to rename as you suggested. WinAmp wouldn't play the file.
