Hi Frank, A lot has been written about the installation of your nurbshelper script, but I still can't get it working, sorry. - The version number is 152b (the one you attached to your message yesterday, jan. 5th) - The OS is Vista 32 - The directory I placed the script in is C:\Program Files\Realsoft\Realsoft3D_32\scripting When I try to activate the script from the menubar in V6 I get an error message. Frankolino is apparently running a demo version of V6 , which has the java bug fixed . I've mentioned that too , but still no reply on that point , as to if it's actually correct and where he may have gotten a demo version of V6 . Zaug Zaug : Are you saying you D/L'd the V6 Demo from this site ? I'd be surprised if you did . Or are you just assuming I didn't know where to go for demo D/L's ? I'd be surprised as well if that is what you are thinking , considering I already mentioned that there is no V6 demo there . Of course that is the first place I went yesterday . You have to give an email address first , then you get a link in the mail . When I followed that link to the download page there were only V5.x versions there . Please , at this rate , I think it best if we just drop it . Let's just give it a rest until someone has some real info- rmation to share , or SP1 , whichever comes first . In my script I have mentioned the exactly name of the path:-) / everything should be ok., although I would like to know if there a any bugs for V6 with the nurbshelper... the pathline of my machine for my script is nearly equal to your path... see the attached text. / the names of any tools are not important, just if you want to load exactly the file with the right name (save or load)... / nurbshelper 1.61 is only the hint to the adapted version to V6... the document (html) is an old one, correctly

Hi Frank : Sorry , it will not load in V6 . Getting the .jpeg error message . Exactly which folder does the .jpeg file have to be in ? I have it in the D:\Program Files\Realsoft3D_32\scripting\frankolinos_nurbshelper151 D:\Program Files\Realsoft3D_32\scripting and the script will not load . May I make a suggestion , since this jpeg file has caused so much trouble in the past for users , and still is now ? Remove the jpeg . Then again , maybe the demo that you are running has the java bug fixed and it is not the problem of your script at all . Hi frank : I'll D/L the windows demo and try your script . garry dear garry again... :-) you must load the frankolinos_nurbshelper152.js script from the opened folder... it does function as well, so I have tried it from various machines... Realsoft3D_32\scripting\frankolinos_nurbshelper151\frankolinos...*.js (this script you must open!!! :-))) so I am thinking it will run, I have tested it for V5 and V6, it works! Who knows ? garry Hi Frank Bueters, hi all realsoft friends :-) I have fixed my nurbshelper script for realsoft v 5.1, v 6 (I am just working with the demo version!) :-) the nurbshelper script has had only one little problem with the path of the picture into the script... Copy the content files of the nurbshelper.ZIP (there should be three entries!, the *.js file, the vulcano island picture and a little html file...) in the Realsoft/Scripting folder. If you start RS 5/6 go to the menu scripts and open the frankolinos nurbshelper folder, there you will find the nurbshelper script you can load:-) // that's all... Hi Zaug, I'd love to try your new window generator, must be fun in combination with the new building tool, but I'm getting an error message. The exact error message is in the attachment. The script is in the folder C:\Program Files\Realsoft\Realsoft3D_32\scripting as this seemed the most appropriate one. Can you help? The only not so obvious thing is the main cutter object that is produced; this will need to be moved to the wall object and used to cut the opening. I've attached the error message. Just to make sure: the os is win vista 32, Realsoft 3d V6 clean install, no other plug-ins than your 2 Javascripts. The scriptfiles have been unzipped and copied to C:\Program Files\Realsoft\Realsoft3D_32\scripting. Regards, Frank Frank, Sounds like something RS will have to have a look at. But if you like you can test some other scripts with this gadget that are not mine, so may not suffer from a possible oversight on my part are Frankolino's Nurbs Curve helper and Freber's l-system generator.
