Re: [DISCUSS] ACS 4.5.3 release

2015-11-20 Thread Rene Moser
Hi Rohit

We at swiss txt would appreciate a 4.5.3 to be released asap, it already
contains this fix https://github.com/apache/cloudstack/pull/922 which
lets us finally activate DRS in our vmware setup. Huge gain on
performance and reliability.

Another one related to VR which has _not_ yet been merged:

https://github.com/apache/cloudstack/pull/1045

Further the language files should be updated, I worked on german
translation lately. If you would take care on that, that would be great.
Thanks!

Yours
René

2015-11-20 Thread Stephan Seitz
Hi Rohit,

I've reported one Bug[1], that affects the network.throttling.rate. I
assume, this is just some bad calculation.

Maybe this could be fixed for 4.5.3? :)

Hello,

I did as well. The upgrade stops when starting the service. Had to go the
SQLite file and comment lines. It tries to insert columns that are already
there. After that it upgraded fine.

It seems that there is a problem there. I do not use their repository, I
think you need to wait someone from shapeblue to help you.

Hi Chritian

There is no cloudstack-awsapi anymore since 4.6.

Remove the cloudstack-awsapi-4.5.2-shapeblue0.el6.x86_64 package first
then it should work.

CloudStack 4.6 Upgrade

2015-11-20 Thread Dustin Wright
Hello ACS Users,

I’m trying to upgrade ACS 4.5.2 -> ACS 4.6 using instructions found here
(http://cloudstack-release-notes.readthedocs.org/en/4.6.0/upgrade/upgrade-4.5.html).

I’ve ran into an issue. The RPM cloudstack-awsapi is missing from the 4.6
repository. Will this get added later? May I skip this broken dependancy?

Thanks in advance for everyones help,

Dustin

I believe you can skip this package (remove it). I think the integration
with the amazon WS is not in the repositories anymore. I believe, if you
use it you will have to install/upgrade it, in another way.

I'm not sure if this is a solution because when you try to remove the
cloudstack-awsapi this will also ask to remove cloudstack-management.

[root@mgcs ~]# yum remove cloudstack-awsapi-4.5.2-shapeblue0.el6.x86_64

Re: [DISCUSS] ACS 4.5.3 release

2015-11-20 Thread Vadim Kimlaychuk

I have 2 issues, both are related to UI.

 1. Network -> VPC -> Configure -> Network tier dashboard item has wrong
number of "Public LB IP" in use. I have none, but it shows 6 (since
4.5.1)
 2. Network -> VPC -> Configure -> Router - public gateways page has
button with "label.add.private.gateway" caption instead of "Add private
gateway" (since 4.5.2)

I didn't create issues in JIRA.

 Vadim.
