Re: Private IP network Issues.
Hi John For any traffic to leave your network, you need to have a router, I think in your case you are switching off the router, so there is no way for traffic to leave the network. If you specifying a /24 subnet, all devices in the range of 192.168.1.1 - 192.168.1.255 would be able to communicate with each other, but as soon as any of them needs to go to any other IP outside of the range, it will try to go via the router. Re: Failed to build 4.15.1: cloud-plugin-user-authenticator-ldap
Hi Rene! Looks like the artifact is no longer in maven central. Is it used for building ACS also? Newer versions are available, and probably are compatible. Will have a look at it. Failed to build 4.15.1: cloud-plugin-user-authenticator-ldap
Hi I tried to update the cloudstack test container [1] for ansible integration tests to 4.15.1 but the build failed with a missing mvn dependency: [ERROR] Failed to execute goal org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-dependency-plugin:3.1.1:resolve-plugins (resolve-plugins) on project cloud-plugin-user-authenticator-ldap: Failure to find com.btmatthews.maven.plugins:ldap-maven-plugin:jar:1.1.3 in https://repo.maven.apache.org/maven2 This hasn't changed since 2 years https://github.com/apache/cloudstack/blob/main/plugins/user-authenticators/ldap/pom.xml#L35 Any hints how to resolve? Private IP network Issues.
We have some issues we need help with. It seems that when setting up the private network ( 192.168.1.0/24 ) which has no internet access the deployment fails and the systemvms agent do not start. However, if I turn on my pfsense box which uses this subnet the deployment is successful. Our private IP uses gateway of 192.168.1.1 which is the LAN of the pfsense box. Naturally we do not want to rely on pfsense so is there a way to configure the private IP network to use the default route to get internet access. I though IP forwarding would work but am afraid it will mess with the host. Any configuration help would be great. publickey - hyperionvdc@protonmail.com - 0xAC29B049.asc Description: application/pgp-keys signature.asc Description: OpenPGP digital signature

+1 It's been about a year since the last release, good to see the initiative Pearl! Regards. Our last release was almost a year ago, and since then we've had a few minor fixes that have gone in, and it seems about the right time to have the next release for CloudMonkey. There are a few open issues triaged for the 6.2.0 milestone: https://github.com/apache/cloudstack-cloudmonkey/milestone/3. If you'll do encounter any further issues, please do report them at https://github.com/apache/cloudstack-cloudmonkey/issues. I hope to have your support. Thanks, Pearl Dsilva
thank you :)
Hey everyone, I just wanted to say thank you to everyone that helped me remediate Cloudstack issues or delve into architecture details last few weeks! POC launch and user feedback was excellent! Best regards, Jordan
Re: Reg : Novnc + KVM [Cent OS 8]
No additional settings are needed as noVNC is the default console in CloudStack 4.15, just set up Centos8 as mentioned here http://docs.cloudstack.apache.org/en/latest/installguide/hypervisor/kvm.html and ensure that the firewall allows access to the VNC ports on the host.
