Hi Mohammed ,
Well I don't think so. Being more specific can definitely help us understand
your comments. We are one of users of cloudstack we are running good number of
production instances on TomTom private cloud.

I would love to know exactly what you mean by that comment.
Have you had an issue with the software ? Do you think its not relevant for
your needs ?

Kind Regards

2014-06-17 Thread Gurudatta Shinde
Hi team ,

We are using cloudstack private cloud in Tomtom. We have created account per
departments. I had checked perimission for one user. They are correct however
when try to create instance using cloudtool it gives error as

Request failed (530): {"errorcode"=>533, "errortext"=>"Unable to create a
deployment for VM[User|i-6-25238-VM]"}
cloud-deploy.sh: exit on error

Can someone please help us out where a problem might be ?

Thanks in advance.

RE: /var/lib/libvirt/images the file system getting full issue

Thanks a lot Lucian for your kind help. Yes you are right we are using
thin-provisioned QCOW2 files.

In that case what remedy we can use ?

Thanks.

Hello,

I imagine you are using thin-provisioned QCOW2 files, right? In this case there
is not really much you can do.
One thing that comes to mind is to use virt-sparsify on these files, but it
requires the VMs to be shut down during operation.

/var/lib/libvirt/images the file system getting full issue

2014-04-14 Thread Gurudatta Shinde
Hi team ,

I am Linux/cloud Engineer working in Tomtom. We are facing an issue for our
hypervisors for file system /var/lib/libvirt/images .

This file system contains the Virtual image disks of guest running on
Hypervisor. As we going on deploying Guests , it gets full. We are looking for
a way how we can have to less space.

So that we can manage them on host itself.

Can anyone please help us out here ? Kindly let us know if need additional info
to fix this problem.

Kind regards ,
