RE: Adding hosts of different CPU to the new zone
Hey Nancy, The CPUs in an Cluster must be homogenous and not in a Zone... So just add a new cluster in CS and add all the AMD based server to it... -Original Message- From: iStar Cloud [mailto:sanotecna...@gmail.com] Sent: Montag, 24. But the new ones I was trying to add are of the same hipervisor based on AMD processors. And it failed. After reviewing document, I figured that each host of the same hipervisor shoud be homogeneous in CPU configurations. Then if I create a new zone, is it possible to add hosts that are AMD based in it? Regards, Nancy
RE: Creating Windows Server 2012 template for KVM
It's the same process... sysprep is still available under %systemdrive%\windows\system32\ -Original Message- From: Indra Pramana [mailto:in...@sg.or.id] Sent: Dienstag, 10. Looking forward to your reply, thank you. Cheers.
RE: realhostip.com timeouts
If you change the FQDN the your mgmt. servers hostname - you have to make sure that you run your own DNS Service to resolve the PUBLIC IP Adresses... That should help: http://support.citrix.com/article/CTX133468 -Original Message- From: ronald higgins [mailto:ronald.higg...@gmail.com] Sent: Montag, 6. Opening a console though is still resulting in an error resolving the host on realhostip.com. Firefox can't find the server at SRV_PUB_ADDRESS.realhostip.com. Any thoughts? RE: How do you work around the 4096 VLANs limitation?
I apologize for that, that was my mistake. Lets say in future releases... -Original Message- From: Chip Childers [mailto:chip.child...@sungard.com] Sent: Donnerstag, 28. Marcel, Apache CloudStack has no such "release" called Felton. Please don't discuss a commercial product that happens to be based on CloudStack as if it is CloudStack. As for VXLAN support, it has only been discussed within the context of adding ASA 1000v support (and within that discussion it was moved to "open items" in the spec). If folks think this is a good addition, please weigh in here or on the dev list.

It is understood that the maximum number of VLAN is 4096 in advanced zone. and it is very common one account can own 3-4 VLANs in practice. maybe more. therefore hundreds of account can be only supported in one zone. how you beyond this limitation? To add more zones? best regards
