Re: Backup Solution in Cloudstack
Isn't commvault integrating with ACS/CCP? Thought I heard about it. We are really interested in a backup solution as well. Something like how Veeam integrates with vCloud. Re: Backup Solution in Cloudstack
You'll probably have an easier time finding something that can backup your hypervisor, if image/vm backup is what you're looking for. A backup software that leveraged the ACS API only doesn't have much options besides using snapshots (AFAIK), and those you already have. If you're looking for something that can backup inside the guest vm I guess that could be doable by leveraging the event bus. Haven't seen any backup software that does it yet though. -- Erik On Sat, Jan 31, 2015 at 1:16 AM, Timothy Lothering < tlother...@datacentrix.co.za> wrote: > Thanks for the feedback, I will dig deeper to see what else can be done. > Looks like I will need to start playing with APIs. > > Regards, > > Timothy Lothering > > -Original Message- > From: Andrei Mikhailovsky [mailto:and...@arhont.com] > Sent: 30 January 2015 04:47 PM > To: users@cloudstack.apache.org > Subject: Re: Backup Solution in Cloudstack > > As far as I know there is no such solution which is integrated with ACS, > which is a shame.
