If you decide to use the original one, don't forget to include your custom
files in index.jsp.

Hi, I believe you can just copy the existing UI to a new folder. The
default UI is in /usr/share/cloud/management/webapps/client/, so copy
the client/ directory to client2/ or whatever you prefer. The problem
with this is that the UI files are usually changed during upgrades to
include bugfixes and support for new features.

I'd recommend porting your changes to the new UI rather than trying to
reuse the old one. If the changes are limited to theming and not very
extensive, this shouldn't be too difficult. Maybe someone else on the
list has experience with this and can provide suggestions.

Best regards,
Kirk

CloudStack 4.0.2 Theming

2013-06-03 Thread Jake G.
Hi All!

Is there a way to apply customizations to the CS UI permanently ?
I have customized the CS user interface but ever time I update CS I have to re
apply the customization.

Is there a way I can make a separate folder that holds the customized css and
image folders? Or any other way?

Thanks!
