Error adding host on new install

2014-03-26 Thread Talk Jesus
Testing out CS on a KVM vm (vps)

Last step, I get an error adding a host

Now building your cloud...

*  Adding host

Something went wrong; you may go back and correct any errors:
Unable to add the host

I tried something.domain.com, I tried domain.com, I tried a public IP.

Username I used root

I would use host IP, also in management host /etc/hosts I map IP to name of
host.

if you don't have DNS I would try IP

Thanks,

Like I've already said, I tried both domain and IP.

I'm not KVM expert, but in general, you will have a more descriptive
error in cloudstack MS management-server.log as well as on the KVM host
itself - since you have an agent running there as well.

I assume cloudstack agent is running and you've went trough install docs
that detail KVM installation reasonably well.
