Yes Cristian, CloudStack will keep supporting both CKS and CAPC

Is there any possibility to deploy a Kubernetes cluster using Isoalted VPC +
ACL + VR?, it asks me for firewalls.

Hi,

I did already in the both ways, with 1.27.2 CAPC and 1.27.3 With
embedded option ( I created the iso with latest version). From my
understanding both options are going to stay with CS.

Thank you.

Re: Kubernetes service Plugin or CAPI

2023-06-25 Thread Wei ZHOU
Hi,

You can deploy latest kubernetes versions (1.24, 1.25,1.26,1.27) on
latest cloudstack LTS versions (4.17, 4.18) in both two ways.

To create a CKS cluster from cloudstack UI, you need to create an ISO.
You can find the instruction on the page you posted.

To deploy k8s using CAPC, you can create images with k8s image
builder. We have built some images but have not published yet, you can
find them at
http://packages.shapeblue.com/cluster-api-provider-cloudstack/images/

Kubernetes service Plugin or CAPI

2023-06-25 Thread cristian.c
Hello,

I saw that there are 2 ways to deploy Kubernetes cluster on Cloudstack. Is
the integrated version going to be improved/removed? I'm confused.

1.
https://docs.cloudstack.apache.org/en/latest/plugins/cloudstack-kubernetes-s
ervice.html
2. https://cluster-api-cloudstack.sigs.k8s.io/introduction.html

Thank you,

Cristian
