can ping my VMs, but can also access the Internet via my normal Gateway.

Hi Geoff,

I followed the standard method of creating a IPsec VPN using the built-in
windows client. I have done this uncountable times in the past and usually it
depends on the VPN router as to whether internet traffic can be split off of
VPN traffic. Also depends on the companies policies. Most large companies I
know do not allow internet traffic while connecting to their VPN, as it poses a
risk if the client PC is infected. From what I can gather off of blogs and
other treads, cloudstack does not have split-tunnel capabilities.

I could be wrong about my assumptions so it would be cool if someone could test
for themselves using the windows VPN client in either windows 7 or 8?

With out running the script I mentioned in my last email, if I checked the
connection details for the VPN network, no gateway was provide by the
Cloudstack VPN provider. I believe this is why internet traffic cannot be
routed out.

Thanks,
Jake

Anyone know how to resolve this?

Is your VPC subnet the same as your “local” LAN subnet?
