Hey Mika, I would suggest to use Vaadin (www.vaadin.org) for your dynamic form generation. It is pure java and css and all the client stuff is done via a small GWT layer. integration into cocoon is easy... we have done it to build a new app on top of our existing hibernate+spring+cocoon webapp.
