I saw a similar workflow from a college (VM on a Windows machine) some
months ago, so I think, this is still a solution to avoid invest in a Mac
only to upload an app.

I think the AIR 30 checksums were out of date.  I updated them.  If it doesn't 
work, post the log.

For AIR 28, can you download from the link via a Browser without error even 
with the double-slash?
